Double Airbeds with Pumps for Backpacking

Hey folks, I’m a total newbie to backpacking and just starting to gear up for some overnight hikes with my partner. I’ve been eyeing double airbeds with built-in pumps because they sound comfy for two, but I’m super confused about how practical they really are out there. Like, do the pumps run on batteries or do you need to huff and puff manually, and how long does that even take when you’re tired after a long day? Are there lightweight ones that don’t weigh a ton in the pack, or are they better for car camping only? Any favorites you’ve tried that pack small and hold air all night, especially in cooler temps? Would love if you could break it down for me - thanks!

Double airbeds scream “car camping king,” not backpacking hero-most tip the scales at 4+ lbs and balloon up like a guilty pleasure. Go Exped Synmat Duo LW instead: 2.6 lbs for two, packs to beer-can size, battery-pump compatible (5 mins max, even zombie-tired), R-value 3.8 holds firm in 40°F nights without deflating. Yeah, same here-total newbie vibes! From what I’ve read on reviews, they hold air great overnight if sealed right, but cold can make ’em feel softer by morning (air contracts, quick pump fix). No leaks on my short test camp, but colder trips? Bueller? Experiences?
