TrekTalkTom I took the new Arc’teryx pack out on a short trail run Tuesday morning when it started drizzling. By the time I got back to the car the bottom compartment was damp inside even though the rain never got heavy. Not sure if it’s just my one or if something’s off with the seam sealing on these.
ultralightpat are you sure that’s the issue with the seams? i had water sneak in on my similar pack last month and it was just a tiny gap near the base from how it flexed on the run. i’d check the bottom corners first before messing with any sealing.
TheGearShed i took my arc’teryx out in drizzle last month on a quick trail loop and the bottom got damp too, so i tried sealing those base seams myself with the usual stuff and it didn’t work at all, water still snuck in when the pack flexed on the run.
