RidgeRunnerJay Expected a basic setup with a daypack and standard boots to handle an easy intro hike without issues. First few miles went fine but the pack shifted on every incline and the boots rubbed hard on the downs. Had to stop and readjust constantly just to keep moving.
bugspraybob Pack shift on inclines usually means the hip belt needs a harder cinch to lock the weight low. Do that first and the constant stops should drop way off, which might ease the boot rub too.
PinePeak That hip belt cinch bugspraybob mentioned should stop most of the shift, but if the load still rocks try pulling the load lifters tighter to pull weight into your back.
